This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
How hard is it to be recognized? Is it the number of hits you have on a page in facebook, myspace, twitter followers, or DA page views. I do not want to think about having to maintain another damn page on the web. Each track who has seen your stuff and how many times someone has viewed your work/page. But at the end of the day...who really cares because it doesn't get you anywhere in the real world.
The real world people pay you for your work. That is what I want to know...how do you break into the real world. You can connect with people on the internet...but real relationships come from face to face contacts. How do you get face to face with people anymore. You can chat online...you can IM one another with hopes you are talking with someone who has a real connection. I guess that is what I want...a real connection with someone who is a real working artist that isn't too stuck up (or stuck on themselves) to talk to you. That is my point I guess. When you find someone who you look up to artistically and love their work and want to know more about how they do things...they simply ignore your comments. I would not ignore someone who wanted to know how to do something.
So next when you log onto your accounts...and see how many people have seen your page...think to yourself...what does that really mean and why am I so fixed on that stupid number of page views! Because even if your pages were viewed, the people you want to see your stuff...probably aren't the ones with connections.
What are the specs - (size), and how much...and when do you need it by...so I can give you the money...
